Come celebrate Earth Day Festival at Idlewild Park all day Sunday. There will be lots of free games and events, and free entertainment from local bands to circus acts all day long. This is a Faire for all senses, with music from around the world, sights to fascinate an...d inspire, tastes and smells from a variety of food selections and many hands-on activities. There will be a host of educational information and innovation on our three armed theme this year for the Earth – The Natural World, Many Cultures and Green Technology. Come learn about and experience the diversity of our world and the many ways we can live with and sustain it. There will be raffles and prizes for your favorite charities within each Earth category, with prizes donated from the many local craft and service vendors at the event. Commemorate the day and event with a special Earth Day Reno 2012 T-shirt or wares from the many artistic and innovative shops and performance groups.
